While LPG's works have graced homes across
America for almost 15 years, she has also scaled up her vision to meet
the needs of public and corporate environments. Her extensive experience
with the building industry and as a Master electrician running her own
business make her the most competent, detail-driven, and deadline-oriented
public artist around.
Rock Creek Medical Center, Kaiser Permanente
LPG
installed a joint corporate commission with fiber artist Ann Astrella
Redmond in October 2004. The two large environmental pieces—composed
of quilted fabrics and patined copper— are the focal point of
the lobby in Kaiser Permanente's newest Colorado medical center.
Castle Rock Public Utilities Building
After an
extensive jury process, LPG and Ann Redmond won out over a field of more
than 50 applicants for a public art commission for the town of Castle
Rock, CO. The wall installations, titled “Tributaries,” are
a unique combination of fabric and metals consisting of several pieces
that range up to 16 feet in length.
